The hot-water switch on the back of the machine may be turned off and you simple need to turn it on. Try flipping the switch and wait about 5 minutes for the water to heat up before testing the dispense. Be careful not the burn yourself! This taste is caused by the in-tank self-cleaning feature called ozonation, to remedy please fill at least 8 cups with water and empty. If this problem persists please contact our team so we can adjust your “ozonation” settings.
The white sensor-button behind the drip-tray is likely stuck and just needs to be wiped down with hot water or wiggled around gently.
