Water

There is no cold or hot water dispensing from the machine, what do we do?

If there is water on the floor it is possible the machine detected a false leak and shut itself off precautionarily. Please check if your drip-tray needs to be emptied.

Troubleshooting beings with unplugging the machine and waiting 5 minutes. Then, plug back in and wait another 5 minutes before testing the dispense.

If this does not work please check and see if the valve is in the off position. Watch our tutorial on how to shut off your water.

If this is not the issue then it is possible the water in your building is turned off, please inquire with your building management company or onsite facilities-team.

There is no hot water dispensing from the machine, what do we do?

The hot-water switch on the back of the machine may be turned off and you simple need to turn it on. Try flipping the switch and wait about 5 minutes for the water to heat up before testing the dispense. Be careful not the burn yourself! Why does our water have a funny metallic taste?

This taste is caused by the in-tank self-cleaning feature called ozonation, to remedy please fill at least 8 cups with water and empty. If this problem persists please contact our team so we can adjust your “ozonation” settings.

Coffee

The machine says it is Out of Order, what does this mean we should do?

Please make sure your bin tray is empty. If you have an X1 the machine will briefly say “out of order” if the door is opened and closed for any reason.

How do we clean the CX Touch?

There is a red button on the inside of the machine that we recommend you press daily to cleanse the machine with hot water.

Our machine says no beans but we just put beans inside, how should we proceed?

The white sensor-button behind the drip-tray is likely stuck and just needs to be wiped down with hot water or wiggled around gently.
